VISIT TO DHANDUKA RAILWAY STATION BY PRE-PRIMARY STUDENTS OF DEMHS
We took our pre-primary students for a visit to the Dhanduka Railway Station. A Railway Station is a place full of great hustle and bustle. The students saw the common things found on railway platform – Benches, Book stall, Tea Stalls and Water vending machines. People were waiting at ticket windows to make their reservations. Many others were crowding at the enquiry window for whatever information they needed. After buying the platform tickets, we went in. Departure and arrival times of various trains were being announced on the public address system. The hawkers were shouting, trying to sell their items. There were passengers, rushing from one platform to another, with porters carrying their luggage. Ticket checkers were standing at the exit gates. It was such a fun-filled learning experience.
