JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

The birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm all over the Country. We at DEMHS celebrate Janamashtmi through plays and narrations. On this day, many students come traditionally dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha. The students were overjoyed when they broke the ‘Dahi Handi’. The power of the name of Krishna brings lot of Festivity in the School Campus.
TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

Teachers’ Day is celebrated in India every year on September 5th to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the greatest teacher and scholar of India. Students at DEMHS make it a special day to show their Love, Respect and Appreciation for their TEACHERS. The Day is important for the students as it gives them a chance to understand the efforts put in by their teachers to ensure that they get a proper education. Teachers’ Day is a reminder of the role that teachers play in nation-building by guiding and educating the brightest minds of our country.
SAVE WATER— EVS PROJECT AT DEMHS

Water is an important resource for all living beings on the earth. It is used for cooking, washing, cleaning, bathing, construction, irrigation and many other activities. Conserving water is very important because we cannot survive without it. Our Students learn this aspect of our daily life through various Projects and Competitions.
GURUPURNIMA CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

We celebrate Guru Purnima to pay respect to our Gurus or Teachers It is observed on the Full Moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July). Students at DEMHS organized a skit to express their gratitude towards their Teachers.
LOVE AND RESPECT FOR OUR GRANDPARENTS AT DEMHS

The relationship between grandparent and grandchild is a sacred one, unique in its own right. We at DEMHS had the privilege to welcome the grandparents of the students studying in this institution. There were Songs on Dada and Dadi, Fusion of songs of 60s and 70s and games like Musical Chairs and Ball in the bucket for them. “Some of our greatest blessings come from our grandparents!” We tried to reciprocate with our love and appreciation.
PARTICIPATION IN INTER SCHOOL MATHS- SCIENCE EXHIBITION

Students of Grade 9 and 10 took part in the Inter-School Maths – Science exhibition. It is an excellent way for students to engage in active learning and gain confidence. Students learn presentation skills are able to network with their fellow students with similar interests. Our students made projects on: 1. WATER OVER FLOWING ALARM 2. FAST MULTIPLICATION TRICKS 3. SMOKE ABSORBER IT WAS SO MUCH FUN TOO!
BLUE DAY CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

Blue Day was an amazing learning experience for the Pre-Primary students. Identification of colors helps in inculcating visual learning for the young minds. BLUE is a cool and calming color. The dress code of the day was blue. All the children dressed up in different shades of blue. To make the activity more proactive children brought toys and drawings based on the theme.
GREEN DAY CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

The Colour Green represents prosperity and fertility. Green Day was celebrated by the Pre-Primary kids of DEMHS The aim was to inspire young minds to learn about climate change and how it relates to their environment. All the students came dressed up in the different shades of green. The campus became vibrant with beautiful green background. Students identified different green vegetables and other green objects. Green Day is a fun way to learn serious lessons about our Environment!
POOL PARTY FOR PRE-PRIMARY AT DEMHS

Water play activities help to strengthen motor skills of young children. They strengthen and build their muscles. They improve their social behaviour. So many Mini pools in the DEMHS Campus!!!!
DEMHS STUDENTS MAKE A VISIT TO THE BANK

The banking institution is an integral part of our Economic System. DEMHS Students visited a Bank to get the basic information regarding the working of the bank. They learnt about various aspects about banking like: Account Opening Demand Draft and Cheque Deposit and Withdrawal This was an effort on the part of the School Authorities to make our Students realistic towards the Financial Aspect of Life!
MOTHER’S WORKSHOP AT DEMHS

Theme of the workshop was “Pink and Purple”. All mothers were dressed in shades of Pink or Purple. There were activities like Salad Decoration, Toppings on Biscuits, Best out of waste etc. besides many games. The mothers participated in these activities with their ward. The Mothers came in contact with their Ward’s Teacher…. Such workshops help to promote the welfare of children, in the school and at home and also help to create better understanding between parents and teachers.
NAVRATRI CELEBRATION AT DEMHS

The nine-day festival of Navratri is celebrated with much pomp all across the country. It is dedicated to the worship of Maa Durga and her nine avatars – Navdurga. We celebrate Navratri in DEMHS with a very festive environment. The school is decorated beautifully. The students come dressed in their traditional best and bring their dandiyas with them The Students learn how Navratri celebration symbolizes victory over evil.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IN DEMHS

Christmas is the time to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is about how he came to give us love, hope and joy. The Pre-Primary Students celebrated Christmas by decorating the Campus and doing art and craft activities, singing carols… Merry Christmas!
EXPO — SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS, COMPUTER AND LITERATURE AT DEMHS

Education is not only to read and write. It is responsible for the over-all development of the child. DEMHS organized an EXPO of Science, Mathematics, Computer and Literature to make learning a fun-filled experience. There was a Fun and Food Zone as an added attraction! It was wonderful to see about 150 students engaging themselves in learning new facts. There were different types of Projects and Models. It provided a platform for the students to use their scientific and literary knowledge to put forth their best. It also allowed the students to work together in teams and learn from each other and also to develop their social and moral skills. More than 300 people came to see the Expo and made it a Huge Success. Everyone appreciated Our Efforts…
